I recently started attending an art therapy session. I’ve found it to be a very effective method of overcoming stress and anxiety. t’s a great way to get rid of stress and negative energy which tend to limit us and quite often poison our lives. I must add that I was very pleasantly surprised. There was no tension during the session. I could feel myself relax and slowly disconnected from the current overwhelming and stressful environment . You draw not for the final result of creating a pretty piece of art, but instead sink into your own world and splash on the paper all your emotions and fears. You slowly begin to develop a deeper understanding of who you are and accept yourself peacefully.
